When the sun goes down at the world's leading business school, the faculty speak their minds. Listen in as they dish on everything from the NRA, to pornography, to free trade, to how to buy happiness... and many more topics at the intersection of business and culture. It's entertaining, insightful, funny and NO MBA REQUIRED! You can subscribe to HBS After Hours on Apple Podcasts, StitcherGoogle Play, Spotify, and wherever else you listen to podcasts. (NOTE: This podcast is currently on hiatus and will return in the fall.)

Your hosts for this podcast are Professors Youngme Moon, Mihir Desai, and Felix Oberholzer-Gee.

Youngme's work centers around strategy, branding, and innovation, with a particular focus on youth and the digital economy. She is the author of the bestselling book, Different, and has published and sold more than two million case studies on companies ranging from Starbucks to IKEA to Uber. She studies culture relentlessly, which she uses as a cover for her idiosyncratic media consumption habits. She is a voracious reader, a terrible cook, and an avid Celtics fan.

Mihir favors British copper TV shows, late 1970s New Wave music, the Socratic method, zabaglione and his three daughters.  In 2017, he launched his HBX course Leading with Finance and his book The Wisdom of Finance was long listed for the FT-McKinsey Best Business Book and Amazon’s Best Business and Leadership Books. His research in corporate finance and tax policy has led to various engagements with governmental bodies and leading companies around the world. He has taught finance at HBS, tax law at HLS and entrepreneurship at Harvard College.

Felix’s scholarly interests lie at the intersection of media and technology.  He’s done research on music piracy (without becoming a pirate), game shows (not a gambling man either), and broadcast television (well, he is addicted to Netflix).  He is happiest when reading cookbooks, writing code for statistical software, sitting in a jazz club, and traveling the world.
